Most enjoyable, more for the fact that reading about an adventure is a lot less painful than enduring it. The idea of walking from Mexico to Columbia is completely lunatic which is why I felt compelled to read it.It reminded me of school CCF expeditions to Dartmoor and Brecon Beacons which the author also survived. I'd forgotten about the long afterglow of achieving a difficult journey, always more so afterwards when warm and dry. Highly recommended.
